When color accuracy is of the utmost importance, the PV270 Video Post-Production 27" 16:9 IPS Monitor from BenQ is here with the tools needed for post-production video work. This BenQ monitor comes Technicolor Color Certified and covers 100% of the sRGB and Rec. 709 color spaces, plus 99% of the Adobe RGB and 96% of the DCI-P3 color spaces with 10-bit support for up to 1.07 billion colors. The included Palette Master Color Calibration software assists in the tweaking of the monitors color palette to ensure colors are represented more accurately, while the Brightness Uniformity function makes it so the display is equally bright from edge to edge.
Setup and configuration of the BenQ PV270 is simple thanks to DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort inputs, while the built-in USB 3.0 hub allows you to connect USB peripherals such as a mouse, keyboard, and hard drive directly to the monitor. Once configured, the display features a QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution along with a 1000:1 native contrast ratio for a crisp, clear picture. The IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel also supports 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, which greatly reduces screen distortion when viewing the display from various angles. There is also a 7-in-1 SD card reader for downloading content from you digital camera or other device.
